R.L. Underwood & Associates was started in 1997 by Rafeal L. Underwood to provide management, technical assistance and business development services to small businesses, government agencies and community development organizations. Services include management consulting as well as assistance in preparing loan, grant and entity certification packages for private, federal, state, and local lending and certification programs. Services can be developed and customized to meet the needs of start-up, and existing business enterprises. 

 Kurguz Paving & Construction LLC. has been in business since 2019, with well established, long-term paving and cement operations located in Central Ohio with stabilized sales and strong profit margins. Our Business has all the necessary equipment, staffing, operational location, and business vendors / client relationships to complete your asphalt and concrete paving needs. We specialize in commercial, residential, specialized and public works asphalt and concrete paving projects for the Ohio Department of Transportation District 6 and 12 areas. Services include sidewalks, seal-coating, curbs, and gutters, paving, curbing, and parking blocks.  

Rafeal L. Underwood is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional, a Certified Business Analyst and holds a M.S. degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.S. degree from Franklin University with a major Finance and over 27 years of experience in economic development finance. Mr. Underwood is a seasoned professional and has solved some of the most complex economic and business development financing needs across the country. Mr. Underwood has packaged and negotiated over $100 million dollars in financial arrangements for small business statewide.
